S. K. Meekings is a British poet and novelist. He grew up on the South Coast and spent the last ten years living and working in China and the Middle East. Writing as Sam Meekings, he has published several works of historical fiction including Under Fishbone Clouds. His work-in-progress received an award from the Society of Authors, and his writing has been featured on the BBC website, in The Independent, on Arena on Radio 1, and in the National Geographic. As a lecturer and single parent of two kids, he squeezes writing into the hours between bedtime and daybreak, fueled by copious cups of tea.
