Suzi Silveira Guina is a first-generation American with roots in the Portuguese Azores islands. She loves to incorporate the stories and history of Portugal into her writing, and has been recognized by the DISQUIET International Literary Program in Lisbon for their Writing the Luso Experience Workshop. In addition to novels, she also writes interactive fiction, and has published interactive novels with Pixelberry Studios, with more forthcoming from Heart’s Choice.
Beyond writing, Suzi has taught college and high school English and creative writing, as well as community writing classes for adults. When she’s not working, she loves traveling with her family and experimenting in the kitchen, trying out new and beloved Portuguese recipes, especially pastries.
